The Process
- The area where the synthetic grass will be installed is cleared of any remaining grass or debris using a turf cutter. Weedkiller is then applied around the perimeter of the area.
- The area is then filled with a base which is levelled and compacted. A protective membrane is then added to prevent weed growth.
- The synthetic lawn is then rolled out into position.
- After careful alignment, the seams are jointed using a special glue. The edges are then trimmed and fixed.
- Kiln dried sand is then brushed between the blades of grass, helping them to remain upright and provide better drainage.
- Rubber infill can also be used for a more realistic feel under your feet.
